Wednesday 15 October

On the map we are on the west coast on the point opposite inch Kenneth 2/3 down the island. Tobermorary is up on the top right hand corner.

How does one explain today ?
Woke to howling winds and the sea very fierce. Sun doesn't come up till 7 am so it is quite deceptive  as to what the weather has install
Have to laugh as the sheep that look like our dorpers, are everywhere. This is the view out of the kitchen window. Sheep with an attitude!

As  june had an upset tummy which we can only put down to the water, we had a slow start which was quite pleasant as we just sat and watched the view from the windows as it was too windy to walk.
the roads are only one  lane, so to drive 24 miles took us 1 1/2hours through ever changing countryside.

it was the most amazing scenery as we wound our way around the mountains.

There are places set aside for passing, most people are really good, others need Tim to sort them out! You have to give way to the sheep as well .as the local information says."if cars are coming up behind you please give way as it might be a doctor going to an emergency" i am sure it would be for an accident.
Also pleased to finally get to tobermorary. This was based for the tv show for kids balamoray
We had lunch in a converted church and then I had to go to a pub so I could get the Internet. On the way home we came across Lachlan macquarie s mauselium. He and his wife came from mull and came back here after 13 years in oz

Home nice and early so we could go for a walk and watch the sunset from our loungeroom
Our house from a different view
